Wavy Abstract Background

OFFERINGS

We believe in a co-learning process that brings the wisdom out of each group. We create space for dialogue about solidarity economy frameworks, engage in art-based exercises, share personal lived experiences, and offer tangible resources for those looking to be in greater alignment with their values. We focus on the role of arts and cultural workers in the solidarity economy, supporting folks to plug in, form symbiotic relationships and practice their principles.

1

SOLIDARITY ECONOMICS POLITICAL ED.

We host regular gatherings for artists and cultural workers to exchange Offers and Needs, give feedback on creative process, and strategize how to support each other.

2

PODCAST

We are building an archive of international stories of people who are collectivizing to get their needs met outside of the extractive economic systems. Please visit our page of podcast themes, to read through some of the overarching questions our episodes answer.

3

ORIGINAL GRAPHICS + ANIMATIONS

Original graphics that are inspired by the audio stories we collect and solidarity economy values. We integrate these graphics into our workshops and they are available for other educators to

download for free.

4

COLLABORATIVE CONSULTING

We work with groups who are rooted in non-hierarchical structures, creative autonomy, and creating the world we dream about, together. We are cultivating relationships that are meaningful beyond the “work” to support each other through this process of systems change.

PAST EVENTS

Highlander Center:

A Solidarity Economy

in the South Gathering

What becomes possible when artists and cultural workers are intentionally integrated into the organizing process? How do we shift from transactional relationships to honoring them as co-organizers? In this interactive workshop, we explored best practices and shared stories where art has deepened the transformative powers of the work we do.
